I want to attempt growing fodder this spring and soon realized I did not have a source for barley or wheat and I was told oats don't work to well for fodder.
I just started fermenting this week. I am using corn, oats and a few sunflower seeds. Depending on how well fermenting works out for me I might skip fodder and just start growing greens and vegetables for the fowl instead.
None of my poultry has ever had anything but FF... they love it
I cracked my grains... corn, peas, and oats... And ferment perpetually.
I add my premix each morning to the fermented grains I pull out for the day... nutribalancer, limestone, alfalfa, and my animal protein - fish meal for chicks, BSF for the adults

Another ISO request. I am now in need of some Runner ducks. We are still getting the Muscoveys but I need Runners now for herding work practice. i would like eggs if someone has some laying.
Reason for this is we have a knew puppy coming in that was hubby's Christmas present from me to him. He is going to be our main herding dog and is another English Shepherd. Pup has been practicing on Runner ducks and i would like to continue the training with them, so I need to either buy some or hatch some. You can PM me here with information. Thanks.
