I am new to the chicken scene and one of my smaller chicks flew over their fence into the larger chicks area. They picked out quite a few feathers. This just happened last night and I cleaned the area and applied neosporin. I would like to use abx on her to ward off any secondary infection. I work for a veterinarian and she said that with other avians she uses SMZ-TMP but knows that with layers there is a withdraw period. I was trying to find out what that period is. If anyone could help us that would be greatly appreciated.
