These snakes keep getting in our quail pen.
We looked it up and it says a gray rat snake but we just wanna make sure if anyone might know for sure. We ste located in North FL.
We know they are NOT poisonous, but would still like to see if anyone may know.

Looks like one I found in one of my coops.

Looks like a rat snake. Hard to keep them out. Hardware cloth every opening you can fit a quarter in.

I tried this with a bunch of snakes getting into the chicken coop. Had better results than other remedies (moth balls, pepper) It didn't stop them in their tracks, but I did see a decrease in numbers.
