Snake in my yard near my chicks

This snake was roaming in my yard when my cat caught and killed it. I am very lucky that my cat killed it as the snake could have hurt/eaten my chicks.

It is to small to have been able to have eaten a chicken. It would have eaten eggs or a small newly hatched chick. But a mama hen would have made a meal of that little guy long before it could have made a meal of her chick. My girls got a hold of a gardner snake in my yard once... they tore the poor little thing to bits... it was gross. Chickens eat mice, snakes, frogs, baby squirrels, if they can get in in there mouth they will try to eat it. Just like toddlers.

I don’t think it could have eating my chicks but it could have bitten them causing them to get hurt.
My biggest concern is what was the species and was it venomous or not.

Probably could not have eaten/swallowed them as they are 3-5 months old

I am in Pakistan so it must be a native species of Pakistan
