Snake Photos! DUW!

They are beautiful. I like snakes, think they are absolutely vital to the environment and do not have a problem with people having them for pets in the least. There was a man in St. Louis several years ago, who had a HUGE python or boa, can't remember now. . . he laid in bed with it, and one day it killed him and the last I knew the snake was in the St. Louis zoo. Also had a couple who had a snake and lived in a trailer park, who had it get lose, and smother their little three year old. Someone in Mo. might also remember this story . . .at the same time, there was a couple who were high end educated and the dad was suppose to drop the baby off at day care, forgot (

) and the heat killed the baby . . .the public was in a rage wanted the young couple with the snake tried for murder . . . but felt sorry for the couple who left the baby in the car (

) and thank God the judge saw that these both were just tragic, tragic errors and didn't charge either couple, if I remember right. Living in a trailer park will automatically get you blamed . . .but if you are educated . . . oh, don't get me started.

I truly believe in some cases, especially where a child is concerned and its a true accident, there is NOTHING the law could do to you that you haven't and will do to yourself.

They're perfectly fine as long as they're not eating my eggs or chickens!

Get a male kenyan sandboa. All you need is a 10G tank. THey bury into the substrate and you never will see them. Easy to feed too.

my sister had to hold three snakes while the cages were cleaned at school, her baby Starburst fell asleep wrapped around her finger, then she had two HUGE snakes. she was holding the smaller one wrapped around her arm and the biggest one over her shoulders. she had to bend down to get something, and the big one got its tail wrapped around her flip flop and she could not fix it because her hand were occupied by the other two snakes. so she had to stand half way hunched over for about 10 minutes until they took the big guy back to put him in his cage again. everytime she tells that story, i laugh SO hard. i'm hoping when i work with the snakes i get a baby. she got to name hers. i forget the breed but it was sooo cute!

your snakes are pretty... Pet snakes are ok its the ones loose that bother me(wild ones)... my husband had one when we got married and i loved her... sold her when noone would come over anymore
