Roux- Kathy has been so much help. She's really an awesome lady! She was supposed to be at a show here last year, but I wasnt able to go. Then something happened and she couldnt make it, so it was ok for me,lol. Do you know who Joni Garcia is? That is who Im getting my adult Male from on Monday. I met her at a show and she's really nice. Yeah, I've seen the feeding ordeal with people who dont feed often enough. Unfortunately, Corwin took matters into his own hands and regurged twice, so he's still pretty tiny. He's putting on weight now though, so he should explode in growth, hopefully,lol. Thank You, I really appreciate your compliments!

I KNOW! I was so upset that I missed you! I kept lookin at you too and had no clue it was you,lol. Dang, I wish I would have been less shy and asked who you were. You were just standing over there by the garbage can talkin to no one,lol. I felt bad. Darn, well there's always next year! Or maybe we can meet up at a reptile show this year! We are planning to go again, so maybe we can meet up at one!

Thanks CC! It took me, literally, years to talk my parents into it. And Now I have 5! Soon to be 6. They always said, no way. And then I got great grades and they said yes. You cant do that, but you might be able to do somethin! Just bring one home, what's the worst he could do? lol.

Thanks ilove! I try my best with the pictures, Its difficult to get the right picture because they move so much! That's why I have to feed them,lol.

I actually feed them frozen. I've started raising my own, but I put the live pinkies down, and freeze them. Its easier because you can store them in the freezer, and its safer. I've seen some snakes chewed up pretty bad by live prey, and I care more about my snake's safety than watching its awesome hunting skills, even though they are cool,lol.

I had to keep an eye on my other two kid's. I am bad at multi-tasking LOL.

When is the Reptile Show isn't it coming up? I am in desprate need of a new tank for these baby Beardies, geez o these guys are just growing FAST!!

They are now at the size where I can pick them up a HUGE one and not worry about them getting lost in it.

Hopefully it is soon, they can wait but not much longer.

Yes, we must go to the Reptile Show, I will bring Candice (Mountian Medley) she would have a blast with you learning about Cornsnakes!

Uuuhhhhh, the only one I know of is the San Jose one, oh, and the Sacramento one. The Sac one isnt happening til September, and I think San Jose is after that! So that is not going to help you at all,lol.

Dang, you are so lucky with those beardies! I got mine as adults so I didnt get to experience the growth spurts. Hopefully they slow it down until you can find a show. I dont know of any happening around here though. Sorry for being no help,lol.

My sister, her DH and I will definitely go to San Jose. They are excited to go back, and I am too! It would be really fun to be able to hang out and help her with anything she needs! Maybe I can talk you guys into buying her 5 snakes,lol.

To bad it was not summertime they would LOVE to be outside. We are looking into making them an outdoor yard, just for the summer.

At work we ALWAYS feed frozen, thawed frozen...
If they're hungry they'll eat...
We'd feed and then see if they'd poop, then we'd feed em again...that's how our store does it...keeps em small enough to be cute I guess.
the first time I saw a snake eat I was like WOW and I'm still wowed by it.
I'm still trying to figure out what Witchy with a B would have done once she finished eating my finger and got to the actual hand...

I always make sure my snakes poop before I feed them again, but with such a high metabolism, they poop quite frequently,lol. It always amazes me how they eat. Mine have slacked on the constricting since they realized the mouse is dead, but if I wiggle it, then they get going.​
