Snakes!!! Solution

you won't believe this. Last year when we moved into the farm someone gave us a deer net all wrapped up. Since then we have gotten three black snakes caught in it, just by leavinging it by the barn all wrapped up. This spring I bought some baby chicks and they are now three weeks old. We separated our coop so the chicks will have thier own section and made them a little pen for free ranging. They are having a blast pecking everything. Anyway, last night was their first night and I covered everything with the deer net. Bingo!!!!! I caught a black snake and all 38 chicks are still there and safe.

I usually relocate the black snakes about 100-200 feet down the road, the water moccasins here are not so lucky
