I got some snap traps last night for the mice that have decided to move into my coop. I will make sure to put them out of reach of any animal. (besides mice of course.) If/when I catch the mice, would it be okay to feed them to my cats?

My barn cats would catch them anyway, so I would. The chickens would eat them too. I've had some hens that were as good of mousers as the cats. It is pretty funny to watch the chickens running around with a mouse and shaking it like a dog would.

Yeah, one of my chickens LOVES mice. I think she got a shrew or something like that too. I'm not sure if the cats will eat it if it is already dead, but I know my chickens will. :p

My chickens would follow the tractor every January or February when I turned my garden. Any adult or baby mice that were unearthed by the plow were "thoroughly"

enjoyed by my hens.
