I know when mom would fish for cats using liver she'd get turtles all the time... so, likely.

Don't know what you could do though... are you allowed to rehome turtles in your area?

depending on the size the loins are quiet delicious as well , I just grab them by the tail fropm about halfway back they have never gotten me when you touch more then halfway forward they will bite you
