Snaring fox

Snares are illegal to use in most states anyway.

Most have devices that allow them to tighten, but not loosen, so if an animal pulls the least bit too hard, it WILL choke itself to death

Out of curiosity, how much experience do you have with snaring? As far as non target animals, I have caught 3 dogs, 2 cats, and amazingly one GHO. All were released unscathed. Unless a snare becomes entangled I have never had a fox choke itself to death.

edited to add 2 cottontail rabbits to that list of 'non target' animals that were safely released.

I'm guessing not much experience. Bear foot farm should look up relaxing locks for snares and cable restraint devices

CAREFUL THIS MEMBER WISHES FELONY CHARGES BROUGHT UP ON PEOPLE WHO READ ABOUT PREDATOR EXTERMINATION

Only in some states.
In the OP's state too

You are correct though, in that I don't have a lot of experience with snares, since they are illegal here also.

But I imagine anyone asking about them won't be up on all the different locking devices either, and many do function as I stated.

Fair enough...but don't let this Brandon Guy fool you...he doesn't care about the fact that predators can devastate a persons flock and wished felony charges on me for Reading about how others deal with problem animals!!

I do wish felony charges on people killing animals illegally. And it is illegal to use golden marlin fly bait to poison wildlife. You must be a user. Lol
