sneezing and congested sounded chicken

I noticed little mites or lice around the vent of one of my girls, so the whole flock got rubbed down with (food grade) diatomaceous earth.

Today (a day after the "bath") I noticed one of my girls (10 weeks old) was sneezing and sounded congested (wheezing maybe?) that I could hear when I held her.

Is this from the DE? Is she sick you think? Should I leave her be or do something?

Did the DE kill the mites? I have never gotten it to work for me. I use seven. Is it possible that she could have inhaled any? I would keep an eye on her and also I would check to make sure the mites are gone.

One chicken had one mite (or lice) around vent this morning- none (that I could see on the others) yay!

No change (better or worse) in my girl.

I was thinking , because of the timing, it might have been the DE that irritated her. I hope it fixes itself :/
