I have noticed that My 2 year old chicken named Miracle has been sneezing constantly. This has been going on for weeks. When she sneezes, some discharge comes out of her nose. Sometimes I can see it and it looks like it has hardened over her nostrils. She has been rather healthy other than that.
A few days ago, Miracle's mother named Tiger, has been developing the same symptoms. She sneezes at least once every minute. And she makes GARGLING sounds. It almost sounds like pig snorting sounds, as if she has liquid in her. She, as well, seems healthy, and has been eating and drinking normally. I noticed a bit of blood coming from her nostril tonight.
Is this anything to be worried about? What could be the cause of this? The weather is turning nice (it's spring time finally) and all the buds are coming out. It can't be allergies, can it? Is there anything I can do to help them? I recently treated them for lice, but miracle had the sneezing before this. Tiger developed the symptoms after. Thank you!
