Antoinette went out to free-range with the flock today (she stayed in the coop the past two days and refused to go anywhere), she's still being pecked on but a lot less and it seems to be settling down!

AANNND her sneezing seems to be subsiding, no nasal discharge, she's perky and laid two eggs in three days!

Thought to update you with a picture of Miss Antoinette, who has made a complete recovery from her cold!

She's my absolute sweetest, favorite, most tame and funniest of the flock (she will climb up on my lap to be petted and comes running if I call her), and to think that a simple cold could have ended her life had she been somewhere else but with me... People around here don't treat their birds, if they get sick they get dispatched.

She knows that I saved her life.

I feel it

Antoinette is the small girl on the left, not much to look at but she has the BIGGEST personality!

PS: you can see her on this little video I took a two days ago, how she loooves to tease the dogs... that girl has NO fear!

I'm glad your bird is doing better. Please keep in mind tho that there are resperatory diseases that they might seemingly get better from, but they'll remain carriers for life and can infect other birds.
