I didn't hear another one sneezing after I posted this thread. The other roo also stopped sneezing. I just got worried because my other roo passes away so suddenly and he was my favorite one tooWelcome To BYC
I'm sorry to hear about your rooster.
You hear another rooster sneezing, can you give some more details? Is he coughing, does he have any mucous or bubbly eyes?
It's hard to know what may be going on, if the rooster is having respiratory symptoms, then it may be respiratory illness. Mycoplasma, Infectious Coryza and Infectious Bronchitis are a few or the more common diseases that affect poultry.
Where are you located in the world? This can be helpful if we determine that you may need some type of medication.
In the meantime, check your rooster over for lice/mites, see that his crop is emptying, look inside his beak for any lesions/canker and make note of any symptoms that he may have.
Encourage him to eat/drink and make sure that your coop/housing has plenty of ventilation and that ammonia from droppings are not an issue.
I'm glad he's stopped sneezing, he may have had some food or water in his nostrils or something.I didn't hear another one sneezing after I posted this thread. The other roo also stopped sneezing. I just got worried because my other roo passes away so suddenly and he was my favorite one too
I appreciate the advice. I'll keep on checking them.
I am from the Philippines.
