sneezing chicken

I have a chicken that is about 1.5 years old and she started sneezing Mon. I quarentined her as I am curious as to what struck her. She is also limping. She has no fever, her eyes are clear and there is no drainage from her nose just a sneeze and cough, with rattling breathing every now and then. I intend to cull her as I don't play with sneezing birds, but she was vaccinated and all as a peep. What I am wondering is if anybody would have any idea as to what she contacted. They are free range birds and we have around 50 birds . We are also NPIP /AI certified so..... what is this ?? Thanks !!

Newcastle disease?

Call where you got your testing for NPIP done and ask where you would go about getting a diagnosis. Some things can be detected by a blood sample or nasal smear.

If you cull, have a necropsy performed. You will want to know what it is you are dealing with. I'm sure the NPIP person would know a lab that you can use.
