I am a new chick owner and I'm not sure if I'm being paranoid...
I took 6 of my bigger, more feathered out chicks outside today (they are just over 2 weeks old). I was sitting outside in the little run with them and they were sneezing and I swear I felt liquid on my arm when they sneezed by me, like just a little speck...I brought them back inside and they seemed okay. They were only outside for 5 minutes or so since it started to get colder...everything else seems normal. Normal poops, eating, lively...is this normal?

I would clean the brooder and increase the amount of ventilation. If the sides of the brooder are solid I would wipe them down with a damp cloth to get rid of the dust. Good ventilation(no drafts) is really important for chicks and to lessen the dust problem in the brooder. Their little sinuses can get a build up of dust/dander which can end up leading to a respiratory infection.

Thanks, I will do that. I just fully cleaned the brooder yesterday so maybe the fresh pine shavings brought up a bit of dust. They are in a shed with no drafts, however maybe bringing them outside didn't help the problem. Thanks for the suggestion I will go do that!!
