Sneezing/Coughing Pullets

Yes, there is water soluble Tylan. However, injectable Tylan is usually recommended, because it delivers the antibiotic to the body faster. In fact, you can even give Tylan orally, but this does not work as quickly, either. That is why I always recommend the Tylan injectable first, as it works quickest, and is usually easiest to find.

Crystal, Tylan 50 is available at Southern States for $12. Needles are hard to find around here other than 18 gauge, but 20 would be good if you can find it. Give 10 mg per Kg or for each 2.2 lb. For a 6 lb (3 Kg)bird give 30 mg or .6 ml. For a 2.2 lb bird give 10 mg or .2 ml. Tylan 200 is too concentrated and I wouldn't use it. You can give the injectable as a shot into the breast muscle daily for 3 days or orally for 5 days.
