Sneezing girl

One of my girls is sneezing quite abit? any tips or advice to what this could be?

hmm... how much is quite a bit because my girls sneeze now and then too, and when they stand up from dust baths

It's hard to say, but a few times whilst i am around her

i wouldn't worry about it. if the case worsens id recommend vitamins, but im no expert

one of mine is sneezing as well, if i am in the pen for 5 minutes or so she will sneeze at least twice and they just made their first dust bath today so i dont think that is it

-i will keep an eye on her

I would keep a close eye on the ones that are sneezing. I know this is a sign of respritory (sp) illness and if it developes further you would need to separate them from the flock so that whatever they have doesn't spread. I know someone with more experience in this area will come along and give more info!

I have a couple of hens in particular that always sneeze when they eat too fast. They also sneeze when they are eating crumble over pellets and there is DE in the feed. It can also be a sign of a vitamin A deficiency, if memory serves me correctly, but someone will have to verify that-I may have that wrong. Diana? If it's only sneezing with no other symptoms, I'd not worry too much, just keep an eye on the situation. So many environmental things can cause it, even new plywood or OSB due to chemicals in the glues they use.
