I have 7 bantams (8 days old), and one of the silkies has always been an occasional sneezer. There is no discharge, she eats, drinks, plays, poops great, etc...Now, I have noticed a few others doing it, and I am worried! I have them on pine shavings, medicated crumbles, heat is at 90 with lots of room to move around in the brooder. They are all eating, drinking, and pooping well. From everything that I have read, it sounds like I shouldn't be too concerned if sneezing is the only symptom. I know that it is not good to give healthy chicks antibiotics. TSC has Duramycin-10. What are your thoughts? They are not sneezing all of the time, but I don't want things to get worse! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! These are my first chicks and I want to do the right thing!

Thanks:)

I think I would give them some antibiotics to be on the safe side. Duramycin-10 would be fine. Would follow the directions on pkg, something like 1/2 TB in a gal of water for 5 or 6 days.
