Sneezing pullets

I have 4 new black sex link pullets who are 4 or 5 weeks old. I've noticed they are sneezing every couple of minutes. No discharge from eyes or beak. They're running around, cheeping, pecking, scratching, pooping, chasing bugs, flapping their wings, fluffing and preening their feathers, jumping up on things, sparring a little, consuming a lot of food and water, growing like crazy, and generally just being little dinosaurs.

Is this sneezing the early sign of a respiratory disease? The air quality hasn't been great, with moderate levels of fine particulates and ozone. Any help is appreciated!

Where are you located in the world?

It could be something in their environment that's causing the sneezing. Dusty bedding and feed or just being in a different location/home.

Possible you may be dealing with a virus like Infectious Bronchitis which generally runs its course over several weeks.

Since they seem quite active, are growing, eating/drinking, etc. it may be best to just monitor them for a while longer. If you start to notice lethargy, mucous, coughing, discharge, bubbles in the eyes, swelling of the facial tissue - clear signs/symptoms of illness and decline, then it would be time to start looking to treat with a medication like Tylosin to see if that helps.

Thanks! I'm located in Pennsylvania. One bird in particular will let out a little sneeze when I put her down after holding her--very consistently. These aren't my first chickens, but this is a weird thing going on.

Inhalation of feed dust or dust from dust bathing or DE can be a cause. Ammonia fumes from soiled bedding and improper ventilation in the coop could be an issue as well. Pesticide use and pollen can be a cause as well.
