My gosling is 4 weeks old today, and sometimes she makes this sound that really sounds like snoring. I thought maybe she had a piece of grass lodged in her throat the wrong way or something the first time I heard it, but she does it a lot. Any ideas as to why or what this is, or is it normal?

Thanks

That's comforting. I thought she might be sick

My gosling - two months old - "snores" in her sleep, especially when she's napping on my lap. It's not like human snoring, as it doesn't seem connected to her breathing, and she doesn't do it throughout the night. It's more like a cat purring, I think - a sound of being cozy and comfortable. A few times, when she was younger, she'd even whistle in her sleep:

OMG that is too cute. I'm assuming that's when she was younger, or that she's a small breed maybe. My gosling is at a month now and she's bigger than that. And getting a lot of feathers. She is just precious though. What's her name?

That was when she was younger, about two weeks old. Her name is Faster Anna, which means Aunt Anna. She's started moulting now, feathers and down everywhere. But she still naps on my lap - sitting there right now.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Sorry about the annoying background sound, my A/C is getting old and noisy.
