Can a rooster snore? I have a big silver-laced Wyandotte roo who snores. I was worried it was an upper respiratory infection, but there is no discharge. Plus he only does it when roosting. So bizarro.
  2. How much does this big bad boy weigh and how much should he weigh at his current age?

An abundance of fat may be crowding his air sacks. Chickens don't have lungs in the same sense as humans do. Most of a chickens body fat is concentrated around its vent or butt and may put upward pressure on his internal organs.
