Snow goose

I rescued a goose and i think it's a snow goose. How do i know if it's a wild or maybe domestic?? Or is there such a thing as a domestic snow goose. And how can i tell? If it is wild, what's the best thing to do.

Find a local wildlife rehabilitator or contact your local DNR and take the goose there. It's illegal to keep wild geese and they'll know best how to help it. Let us know if we can help you find someone nearby.

@119chixanducks It may not be a snow goose I have an Embden goose with blue eyes and solid white.

If it is a snow goose, let it go, it is probably sick so you don't want to eat it (they are good) and you don't want it making you birds sick. It is basically open season on them here because there are so many...
