Snow Horse! -pic heavy-

I always waited till the last day I could to get their coats nice and thick, and then put blankets on. The animals look real nicely taken care of.

Thats what we do too, Lady only has a blanket when it is 40 and below.

Where Lady is boarded is the best. She stay's at the school barn and is apart of the lesson program there but she doesn't get used much in it because she is still pretty green and is only used by a few of the advanced students.
I've been riding at this farm for six year and I've been working here for 4.

It's the best lesson program I've ever seen, all of our horses aren't used for more than one lesson a day accept some of our beginner pony's but their lessons are mostly walking any ways. Everyone gets grain twice a day and all day or night turnout accept the mares who stay out 24/7. Some people prefer their horses stall at least some of the day but I love that she is out all the time because she has tons of energy (thoroughbred ya know).

I am glad you all enjoyed the pics, I'll try and get some when she is not so wet and some in better light.

Those are really nice pictures. I love the split rail fencing in the background. The horses here get pretty good thick winter coats. I can relate to trying to take pictures of horses I have some I am ready for my close-ups Mr. DeMile pictures too. I too have the eyeball pics. Beautiful horses.

My family loves ghosthunters have you been to the lighthouse in St. Augustine? After the first show on it we had to take a trip over there and climb to the top. VERY VERY tall, and a wonderful view but no ghost.
