SNOW - It is going to Snow.

Located in Thurmont MD (Frederick County) - National Weather Service is calling for 18 - 24 inches over the next 24 - 36 hours with high winds.

We are ready. Animals are good, we have plenty of wood and food, bring it on. Card games, Movies, homemade snickerdoodles. Umm!! I love snow.

Prayers for the medical staff who has to get to work and stay at work as well as our Emergency response (Ambulance and Fire).

We are waiting too, although we are ONLY supposed to get 2-5 inches. Going out soon to fill the feeders and water bowl. Got groceries yesterday so we are set for a wile. Got to pull the car in the garage so I dont have to sweep snow off it. Its not so bad but I have a friend coming up from the southern part of the state sunday, hope the roads are good till then. Hes supposed to get up to 8 inches.

We are supposed to get up to 10 inches by tomorrow night. We are also supposed to get some sleet and ice first. I love snow, but not so much the ice. We filled up all the feeders and waterers this morning. I just hope we don't loose power. I have babies in the brooder that are only a week old. My other babies are 5 weeks and feathered so they should hold up ok since they are in the basement. I feel bad for what I am hearing for parts of the east coast, 24 inches and 75mph winds. Batten down the hatches!!!

We are getting 4-6 inches here in NE Ohio.I could not imagine getting 2 feet.Keep safe and warm!

I hope it's gone soon! I'm susposed to pick up our new puppy in Smithville in 2 weeks!

They are calling for 12-18 by me in south jersey, but I've heard we might get up to 22 inches. I'm excited! I want to build snowmen!

They are not saying how much for us. They just have snow in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow for our area. I am in NY. I think they are just waiting to see which way the storm goes. They really dont know lol. I just look out the window and see what its doing

Forecast just upped our anticipated snow accumulation to 20-30" here in NO VA!

Coop is well stocked, house is well stocked and my sister and her doggie are joining our family as we hunker down for the weekend.

Family, tons-o-movies, cards, games, FOOD, Superbowl. . .

We are so blessed that this will be a time to enjoy instead of a hardship.
