SNOW - It is going to Snow.

Supposed to get 35 mph wind gusts tonight...already blowing. A bunch of snow blew into our barn and the peas are freaking...they've never seen snow close up. Or maybe they're sensing something we're not....Great packing snow though and it is beautiful. Now we're at the stage two part....fire and cocoa!

Started snowing here around 11:00 am here in Thurmont, MD. We ave about 18-20 inches of snow already. Coming down hard.

We went out over the course of the night to clean off tarps covering runs. Tractor shed is a temp carport deal has worked well until this it was the worst to clean off. Snow is falling steady still and already@ 24+.

Snow was blowing so runs got covered for the most part any way. This snow is very heavy compared to the last. Good Luck to all !!!

We ended up with about eighteen inches here! We are snowbound. Going out with the camera later!

We ended up with about 30 inches. 5 1/2 hours behind the snow blower to get the drive way cleared, paths to the barn and chicken house and the neighbor's driveway. Sun is out and melting snow. Back, arms, legs, hands ... actually everything hurts.

Dogs are having a wonderful time, running around in the snow, jumping and rolloing around. Chickens on the other hand are stay in their houses.
