So far we haven't gotten much of anything today though they are still calling for it. Everything is closed. It is bitter cold. But who cares. We'l enjoy spring that much more, when it finally gets here!

we had a snow on march 1st last year... crazy huh

this stuff is ALOT heavier than the last snow. I forgot how heavy wet snow can be! Be careful everyone. Don't overdo it. Especially since its gonna drift right back! maybe the drifting won't be as bad since its a heavier snow...we'll see.

Snowing in Charles County. Wind blowing off and on. Not gonna stop until this eve. Gained another 6-8 already. This is unreal but lets remember its only a temporary hardship others are dealing with much worse.

seriously though, out of stuff in the stores i guess? this is CRAZY. the pile of snow i have created to get in my shed coop is almost as tall as me. not that I'm tall but jeez... no more shoveling with this stuff!!! its HEAVY. might go out and pack some down with the saucer sled or something so the dogs and I can walk on top of it. you dont really appreciate how deep it is though until you have piles of it from shoveling out here and there. my yard and driveway look like the parking lot of a major store when the plows have pushed it into mountains! and its still snowing and blowing. what i did this morning at 7 is unnoticeable. FAGETABOUTIT!!!

We had about 6-8 more inches since yesterday.I made a path to the chickens,and a path to the mailbox.That is it for today with the temp at 16 degrees.I am in no mood to do more.The kids will just have to stay home.We have had about 3 or 4 snow shoveling deaths(heart attacks) in the past few days.
