We are getting snow here in central Arkansas. All of my chickens are staying inside, but the turkeys seem to like it.Thats Sweetie coming up to see if she could eat the camera.

My chickens also hang inside while my turkeys frolic around in the snow. Since we have wild turkeys around here my guess is that they are naturally more cold hardy than chickens.
I think your are right. You can see the snow on thier backs, so they'd been out in it for a while.We don't get snow much here, when we do it is a treat for me, but the chickens don't seem to like it.They will hang out in the rain, but not the snow.
