That gives me some really neat ideas. Granted, I live in a warmer climate but still and all my ducklies do not care to be out in the wind or constantly in their coop. The coop is 10x14 and open in the front but I did put a tarp over most of the front and it does face south. But to get them out of there and into another area for a bit of the day as they try and free range those are some good ideas.
This is the front of their coop. The one on the far left. For 23 ducks they do okay but I bet I could make a few shelters like what you all have done around my farm where the ducks likes to go and they could use them during the days. Or would that be too much pampering for them?
