Mum is RIR dad is EE no other roos have access to mum. Mum doesn't lay white eggs, but hers was white. She has one dark feather that I can find. Her mum wanted nothing to do with her when she hatched. Her feet were also all curled up and didn't work properly(my son rubbed them and taught her how to use them). Her mum nor the other hens wanted anything to do with her, intact they attack her.

I'm no expert on genetics but I am guessing another rooster was involved. Especially if this gal produces a white egg. I'm sure someone else will be able to give you some answers.

How old is she?

I am a bit confused....the egg she hatched from was white or she laid a white egg?

Does your EE have feathered legs and a crest?
What other breeds do you have?
Are you CERTAIN the egg she came from was from your RIR?

She came from the white egg, mom usually lays brown eggs. Mom is a RIR dad is EE, no pictures of parents. They are in a fully enclosed run, so no other roos. Snow is approx 3 months old

Can you take a couple pictures of the parent birds and perhaps of your other birds?

RIR always lay brown eggs. I suspect there is more to this birds story.

She only has RIR and a few EE. She has coops with enclosed runs due to coyotes and wolf. In the run she came from is about 30 RIR hens, 1 EE roo, and 1 RIR roo. No one lays white eggs, but I have been informed another white one has been laid. RIR roo makes blue ribbon babies.
