We haven't got much snow yet (Only one storm in october). It will come soon enough. We were suppose to get some on Christmas but looks like the forecast has since changed.

Thanks! My chickens are Silver Laced Wyandottes. Being a first time chicken owner, these birds are the best!! They are very calm, easy to care for, and they lay well, even here in the cold weather. I'm amazed they still lay 3or 4 eggs a day in the nasty weather!! Oops I should explain I only have 6 hens and a roo! I might be wrong but I thought that was good without any lights or any thing. In the summer they usually laid 5, and once I got 6, so the weather and shorter days doesn't seem to bother them yet.
