SNOWSTORM! HELP!

I spent two winters shoveling clearings and paths for my birds and FINALLY roofed part of the run this past summer. Wouldn't you know it, this super mild winter we're having has produced less than an inch of snow in my area so far this winter. Your housing will get pooped up REAL quickly unless you clear them an area and toss down some straw or something to lure them out... As madamwlf said, it's just another part of chicken care...

You don't want to tarp the whole run. I only had a corner tarped and the snow was so heavy that it was tearing. We had it attached to the side of the coop with a 2x4 luckily or we would have had smashed birds.
