Does anyone have a link to pix of day old snowy ducklings? I have had 2 batches of snowies hatch (1st only 1 hatched, today hatched) and of the 5 I have 2 different color. Some are primarily yellow (so white I assume) and some are primarily black with some yellow. Curious if this is normal and depicts sex or something?
Thanks,
Kristi
---Foget it guys...as of 10:50 this a.m. the little guys aren't here anymore...o at least the last 4. My f'n dog got in the brooder and ate them while I was outside caring for my other birds. I cried my heart out the day my other dog killed their mom but was so relieved I had 6 eggs, and now, they were ONE day old...and I have to again cry my heart out b/c the POOR babies were eaten alive...
THis sux so bad....
Thanks,
Kristi
