Snowy Call's - Hatch Date, 8/27 update

How silly am I!? I put them in the incubator last week and never even THOUGHT about looking at the calendar to figure out the due date until DH asked me about it today! Jeepers sometimes I wonder where the functional part of my brain got left! Well they are due the 27th. I forgot to turn them this morning when I got up, so on day 4 it wont kill them to go like, 24 hours without being turned will it?

We're on day 6 now, I tried candeling last night even tho I knew it was too early to expect to see anything. Still just look like eggs, but the part of me that wanted there to be something there thinks that the yolks look a tish darker...

lol i am doing the same thing only i candled on day 2 LOL good luck! mine are due the 23-25

today is day 5 almost day 6 and i candled ALL of em.. some are definatly developing actually MOST of the silkie eggs have veins and eye spots!! YAY! 80% of my EE eggs are showing veining and even some of my cochin frizzle eggs are showing development ( i just put them in on tuesday!) soo lol ill candle again on monday.. hehe!

Argh these darn thick shelled duck eggs... I can tell that the yolk blob is getting darker but the shells are so think I cant SEE anything...

I have been looking for white calls everywhere!! Eggs, ducklings, adults, impossible to find!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck with yours.

well if any of mine hatch someday I am sure to have eggs for sale lol. now if I could only find saxony eggs...I'd be in heaven. these were a piece of cake toa quire compared to Saxonies

Well its been 13 days and there is ZERO veining in ALL 12 of my call duck eggs... do I wait or toss? Theres no smell and they dont look to be going bad but.... ?

this late in the season the drakes are molting so they are no longer fertile....sorry about your eggs. It is disappointing.
