Hi- I am a wildlife rehabber specializing in waterfowl- mainly migratory ducks. Someone brought in a male/female pair of snowy mallards (see pic) and I need to find a good home for them. They are at my place in Somerville - 30 min from Bryan- College Station or Brenham TX. I can arrange to meet u to hand them over- must go to someone who has plenty of space for them. You can just reply to BYC - duck thread if interested.

Yes I am interested, so might be @Texag87 . I am about an hour from Bryan. I have two coops an outdoor run and lots of acerage. Are you seeking for them to be pets?
They are very tame- they will eat out of your hand- if you have something that they like- such as a June bug. I would think that they could be easily trained to free range and then be put up at night. I named them Elizabeth and Richard and they get very upset if they lose sight of each other.

I just asked because I can provide either environment. I have ducks and ducklings that are pure domestic. But I also have a 3/4 acre pond with a floating duck shelter if you wanted to s emi wild them. They are so pretty, I would be happy either way. References on this site would be @Texag87 and @DrVeghead . Both have seen my set up and I am happy for you to dm them without including me to check me out. For future reference if you need a place to release migratory fowl, I have a good set up with regular visits from whistlers, teal, and wood ducks.

I wish I could take them but my new coop has ducklings right now. Otherwise, I would head down OSR to 21 to 50 to 60 right now. Yes I would vouch for @Magnolia Ducks because at least I can visit them that way.

Hi- I am not sure if you received my reply from yesterday- so am resending. I found a great home for Elizabeth and Richard, the Snowys, but have 2 Black Bellied Whistlers that need rehoming in a more protected environment than the typical migratory duck. Please contact me at [email protected]. I am familiar with the Magnolia area and it is a quick drive off of 290. Am happy to deliver or meet somewhere.
