Snowy Woods ~ *WOLF ROLEPLAY* (by cluckmecoop7)

(ok at least you answered me!)
Akela ran to her den when she got their she lay outside tumbling in snow.
Later she heard kasha run"where's the rest?"
Kasha came into Akela's den panting. "Everyone? I don't know, I was hoping that you'd know. Everybody left." She layed down still panting from her run. Kasha looked at Akela and asked curiously, "Now what?"

The humans watched Kasha and pointed at how she now had four legs thinking that she was Cove. They acted amazed. Kasha started feeling proud seeing their amazement and started showing off. She started doing tricks like standing on her back two legs for a couple of seconds and rolling over and stuff.

Konz noticed Kasha's performance and wanted to chuckle at it, but tried not to because he was supposed to be distracting the dogs. So, because he wanted to laugh, he started to ask the dogs what is some of their funniest experiences. Soon, both Konz and the dogs were laughing, and laughing hard and loudly. They were laughing so loudly that they couldn't hear the humans anymore, or that the horses were starting to make a little bit of noise.

Cove snuck through the bushes and quietly snuck up to the horses. A couple of them made a little noise noticing him, but nobody heard them. Moving with his three feet and the remaining part of his left hind leg all quietly on the ground, he came to the ropes that was tied from the horses to a log. He started chewing on them breaking through while the horses watched wondering.

Cove finally chewed through the ropes. He circled around the horses still on all fours. When he was behind them, he jumped up with a grawling bark startling the three horses. All three instantly was on their hind legs neighing loudly with their front legs in the air, and suddenly got the attention of everyone. Then they landed on all fours again and galloped off into the forest full of fear. Cove quickly ran after them barking loudly. He saw a noll up ahead and ran to the top of it and landed on one of the horses. The horse neighed loudly but still ran with the others. Cove held onto the horse's mane tightly so that he wouldn't fall off and rode on the scared horse, leaving everyone far behind.

The humans stopped watching Kasha and started yelling. They got the dogs and started chasing the horses who were quickly getting far away. Konz ran with the dogs still pretending to be one. Kasha stopped her performance and just stood there. "What just happened?" She wondered. "Where's everyone going?" She was enjoying showing off and was disappointed that everyone was leaving. She didn't know what to do, so she just stood there and watched as everybody quickly left.
Cove held on tightly to the horse's mane. He didn't know where the horses were going, but he knew that everyone was left far behind. He realized that he didn't give the others further directions in what to do next. He started thinking of things he should of told them when his thoughts were suddenly interupted.

The horse that Cove was riding didn't realize that there was a bear trap hidden in front of it. It accidentally stepped on it with it's right front hoof. It instantly neighed in pain as the trap snapped up on it's leg. The horse fell over head first and landed on its unexpecting rider.

Cove yepped loudly of pain when the horse landed on top him. The horse completely pinned him to the ground and layed there not moving. It neighed of pain as the other two horses galloped far away abandoning the now injured one. Cove whinned and tried getting up, but couldn't even move. His whole body hurt and he was filling up with fear. He tried bitting at the horse, but it appeared to hurt him more than the horse. Things appeared to be fading away as Cove looked around feeling his painful body. He closed his eyes whimpering a little and started losing consciousness.

Konz was faster than the dogs. He ran as fast as he could laughing at how bad of runners the dogs were. "Surely you guys could run faster couldn't you?" Konz joked. "Turtles could move faster than you!" One spoke up playing along, "I'm young and still learning. Give me a chance and I'll run circles around you, slug!" Konz laughed, "Slug! Why-"

Konz froze in his tracks when he heard a horse neigh way ahead and Cove yep of pain. The dogs passed him and laughing said, "Look! The hare sleeps again!" Konz paid no attention. Fun was over. Something happened ahead and his younger brother Cove was involved. He picked up his pace again, but was scared of what he might find ahead.

"Looky here!" "Got you after all!" "Did you really think that you could get away?" The dogs mocked as the circled the horse and Cove. The grawled and laughed at the weak, injured, trapped wolf. They didn't even seem to care that the horse that was on top of him was injured too. One decided to launch himself at Cove to finish him off. He was about to land on Cove with his teeth bared when a tan, black, and white blur came out of nowhere and knocked him to the ground. Then it stood above Cove doing a very threatening grawl.

Konz finally caught up with the dogs. He was scared to look, especially when he saw the horse laying on the ground. He knew it was good. He ran over to Cove, and was about to go to Cove's side when a very threatening grawling back startled him. He looked and there was a mostly tan with black ears and a little bit of black on the back with some white on the bottom dog like creature. It kinda looked like and smelled like a wolf, but it had something neon pink around it's neck. "Back off!" The creature snarled with all of its fur on edge.

"Back off?" One of the dogs angerly questioned. "We was after that wolf first!" "Is that so?" The creature looked hard at the angry dog. "I'll say again... BACK OFF!" The dogs all raised their fur too. "There's more of us than of you!" More worried for his brother then anything, Konz quickly stood in between the creature and the dogs. "She said 'Back off.' I don't think that you should mess with her." "And let her get away with that wolf's pelt? She didn't even have to work for it and you're just going to let her STEAL it? Whose side are YOU on?"

The humans finally caught up with the dogs. They were instantly concerned about the injured horse. They was about to run up to it, but the creature snarled at them too. The dogs started barking at her threatening her, but the creature stood her ground and Konz stood by not knowing what to do. "Get out of here!" The humans yelled. Then one of them pulled out of gun and pointed it at the snarling creature. He was about to pull the trigger when he heard someone say, "Hold it right there, poucher."

Everyone looked. There was another horse and there was another human on it. The human was dressed completely in green. The other humans froze. "You know that it's illegal to be hunting in these parts?" The human in green questioned. "And that's MY dog that you're pointing that gun at?" Then the human in green looked at the still grawling creature. "Good job, Dyra!" Dyra twitched her tail a little, but still held her ground. "Get your dogs the human in green told the others. They called their dogs and the dogs slowly came to them still grawling.

The human in green got off her horse and came to Dyra. "Good girl." She told her. Dyra stopped grawling and backed up so her human could see the injured wolf. "This wolf is injured, but still alive. Come get your horse." The human in green told the others. The others came and got their horse's hoof out of the trap and helped it up. The horse limped badly with it's injured leg, but other than that, appeared to be ok.

The human in green gently petted Cove before looking up. "Get your stuff and yourselves out of here." She told the other humans. "I'll let you off with a warning this time, but if I catch you guys in here again, it's jail time for you." The others nodded their heads and then she added, "If you're missing a couple of other horses, another ranger caught them and has them at the ranger station." With that, the other humans moved quickly to gather everything and get out of there.

Konz stood there pleased to see that the ranger had taken care of everything, but was still really concerned about Cove. "It's ok, Keokuk," the ranger said softly to Cove and looked at Dyra. "We'll take care of him again." "Again?" Konz wondered. Then he remembered that a long time ago Cove disappeared. When Cove came back he was missing part of his left hind leg. Konz sniffed the air. "That's it." He thought. He recognized Dyra and the ranger's scent. He never knew what happened to Cove, but now he knew who helped him.

Konz watched as the ranger gently picked up Cove and brought him up onto her horse. "Come along, Dyra." The ranger said and directed her horse around and slowly rode off into the forest. Dyra first stared at Konz before following her owner. Konz followed cautiously behind them concerned about his younger brother. He hoped that Cove would be ok.

(Another chapter. Sorry guys.)
