Skol heard something but couldn't make out the words, "Pond," he said, trying to sniff out the waters location.

Natalie barked, then walked forward a couple more steps, jumping into the pond, her tail wagging slowly as she paddled around in the water.

Skol found his way to the edge and waded in. As soon as he was in he plunged his head in and pawed at his ears until the blood was gone from his ears. He put his head above the water and shook himself.
