She realized she had her back arched in a catlike manner, something SandStorm always got onto her about and quickly straitened out her back. She grabbed the bird and slowly backed up into her small tunnel with it.

Lilly rolled her eyes as she mumbled, but continued to smile at her in a motherly manner. She hoped she could have her own pups one day.

Scorn set about trying to eat the bird and got feathers everywhere, often sneezing when they went in her nose. She growled at a feather when it got stuck in her lip and shook her head free of any feathers sitting on her.

Lilly laughed, blowing feathers off scorn and smiling at her.

Scorn scowled at her, which was actually adorable since she was a weanling and continued ripping feathers off the bird. She finally got most of the feathers off and started eating. She ate quickly as she was still severely underweight and starving.

Lilly laid her head on her paws and closed her eyes, her smile still bright and warm. " She'll never think of me like she did sandstorm, but maybe she can accept me as..... something " she thought hopelessly

Scorn ate as much as she could of the bird as she had a tiny stomach and pushed the rest away. She stood up and continued digging her little tunnel.

Lilly smiled at the interesting design, cocking her head and watching her. Her ears hanging with the direction of her head.

Scorn lay down panting for a break when she was about halfway done and came out to grab the bird. She grabbed it and shrank slowly into her mini den.
