Snuck them in! Now what?

In hatching egg flocks and in floor egg flocks there can be as many as 20,000 hens all running togather in one building. However hens can not recvognise more than about 100 fellow chickens so in flocks of 20,000 hens the hens are unable to recognize the remaining 19,900 hens as a suitable target for aggression and therefor they do nothing..

Rescued 2 adult chickens and snuck them in on the roosts tonight! Not sure what to do in the morning... can't really separate the coop or run with snow everywhere
I recently added 3 to my established flock of 10 a month ago and it’s still an ongoing process. They seem to be pretty integrated and living in the coop together now but it’s only been a week.

There was much blood shed and stress on me and the chickens. I wouldn’t worry about the fact that a partition would deny then access to the run. It will establish the homing period to your coop and then when you are there you can let them out for an hour to range and interact.

Good luck ! I look forward to hearing what happens when you unlock the coop in the morning!
