So 3 weeks ago, I couldn't keep enough ducklings here

We've got some call ducklings hatching right now. I am probably keep them all. LOL but I have two Muscovy Ducks setting on HUGE nests - so I'm thinking soon I'll have a Mess of Muscovies like I had a Mess of Mallards earlier this month.

I still have a Mess of Mallards. Three Mama's with a total of 13 babies among them - not counting the eggs I had collected of theirs and hatched in my incubator.

About a month ago I couldn't keep up with the mallard demand - now no one seems interested.

What I'm really having troubles with is selling off the last two Sebastopol Goslings.

I love breeding and hatching all poulty. But I hate selling anything. I hate everything about selling from my home. I hate waiting for someone to show up. I hate that they have no respect. They treat my house like it is there petting zoo. When I ask them not to touch certain animals, (I have stallions or nervice moms for example) they go out of there way to do the opposit of anything I say. Who knows what kind of germs they have. Then they want to argue why they can do it. I have had some people look for things to steal if you won't sell something to them. After they look at everything and waste hours of your time answering questions, they don't buy anything or they buy one. Big deal.

I use to take the unwanted birds to a auction. People knew I had nice birds and I did have a regular clientele. I sometimes made more money than if I sold them at home. The only way to make good money at auction is having more than one person that wants what you are selling. You can't offer lots of the same thing. You over run the market that way.
