I did that also except I left the plug open. I had a chick hatch with fused toed last hatch and I had a lot of late quiters last time I left plugs in.

You can take the plug and flip it upside down and shut it 1/2 way also (just learned that lol)

I was doing that also. I don't know share the problem was. I just kept having a lot of late quitters. It was suggested that it could be because not enough fresh air. Idk I've been able to keep it no lower then 65% then I come home and raise.

I'm dying here...wish I had a job so I wouldn't sit there and stare at them all day. One pip and nothing from any of the others plus I screwed up and put the wrong liner down on the wire. I need to take it out becuase its screwing up the temp and humidity. Wish that one didn't pip.

Just got home. Still only 2 out of 12 pips.

Just got home also. I have 2 more starting to zip and the one that was zipped this morning was at the same place, no progress, appeared to be stuck, and not turning. I did the one thing I hate to do, I went into PANIC MODE. Yes you guessed it, I raised the humidity level thinking it was stuck, and removed it, I should never do these things,

because instead of going very slowly, I went too quick, well it appears to be alright I hope, stopped when there was a little blood. All the yolk was absorbed, It is now trying to remove the rest of the egg and is loud. Good sign Huh. So whatever you do, don't do as me, let it be. I'm sure now it was just being lazy. Will get pics when it drys a little. I wish all well.
PS kvmommy I know I said don't open it, I lost my head, don't lose yours.

well I can't get the humidity past 55%. I'm thinking of opening it and taking the mat out and risk shrinkwrapping this one just cuz its risking the others!!!
