This gal of mine, she is always angry while she is broody. Anything makes her start screeching. So when I put a camera near her, of course she was unhappy. But I did not touch her, just talked to her.

Well, as of today she has a gaggle of chicks! And WOW is she protective. She beat the snot out of another hen who had a derp moment and got too close. Whew, the anger!

It's like a soundtrack to a horror film! My cat was running around trying to work out if the world was ending while I was playing the video!

She sounds like my little bantam. She hasn't been broody for long, today is day 3, but she sure can screech! I have to get a towel and put it over her head to do anything. Even then she is try to get at me through it. It's okay though, protective broodies make good mamas.
