What birds do you have & are you going to the Fresno show?

I ask about 4-H because my wife & I are 4-H leaders
My family has lived in Norco since '58, I'm assuming your last name is Brown if so would you be relaited to the
Browns that use to live on Temescal yrs. ago?

Amanda has birchen, brown/red, pyle, blk, & hope to get lemon/blue at fresno

I just got a BBr k & GDW p last week I'm going to get a blue hen ot fresno so I'm going to work on GDW & blue/red

Thats cool I like the GDW. i remember you guys from the victorville show. I almost bought that trio of roscombs fom you but i was $10 short, lol ohh and by the way your transport coops are very nice

I lived in Corona back in 1980 when it was a small town and you could smell the cows in Norco every morning!!!

Hi Everyone!

Madge, an Australorp, lives in Hermosa Beach and free ranges all day in a rose garden.

Delighted to meet you all!

Hey Jeff, I talked to Amanda & she said that if you were still interested she had a pair of rosecombs that she would sell for $40. the cock is 2 yr old, I would not say that he is SQ now only because of his age, the hen is SQ, They would both be gd breeders for SQ birds for this fall.

& if no one has heard the nat'l poultry show is in Ventura this fall so get your birds ready

My DH and I both grew up in Thousand Oaks (Ventura Co) and moved here three years ago. So nope... We aren't related to those Browns! I hear that's a popular last name, though!

So you're 4-H leaders, huh? I've wanted to do that since I was young and now that we're trying for a family, I *hope* my child(ren) enjoy(s) the animals as much as I do.
I actually did a three day event out this way when I was younger. I remember alllll the cows. Don't know exactly what ranch it as at though.
We have BLRW, cochins, Polish, Mille Fleur d'uccle, a Buttercup, Silkies... and I think that's it.

The family I was refering to had 12 kids in it, must have been a combination of the last name & the gd Norco air/water:lol: SOOOOO you say your ready for a family Mrs. Brown;)

It wasn't a fair, for sure. It was a three day event, meaning Dressage on day one, Hunter/Jumpers on day two, and Stadium Jumping on day three. It was at some snooty ranch where everyone rides English. There was some cow farm next to it.
And yes, I'm ready... but 12??? Good grief. I'll start with one and see how that goes!
