I just candled my 18 bantam frizzle cochin eggs that are on day 7 and out of the 18 only two have anything that look like it could possibly be a beginning of a chick. Everything else just floated around like floating yolk. On top of all this my hen who was just broody this past April is now (after we went away for a couple of days and she had an excess of eggs laying around by her) has decided to go broody again and I have had to lock her up seperately because I don't want her taking up a nesting box for no reason and she is one mean broody. I don't even have any eggs for her to sit on and the only eggs that I could quickly get ahold of would be all mutts and I don't need any of those. So needless to say I am really depressed. Wish I could get me some more frizzle eggs.
