So, does the duckling's down start to fall out?

They are three weeks old now. When they preen themselves, little long yellow fuzzies are coming out.

Yeah, it's really neat how it works! It's just like one day they are all yellow (for my pekin babies) then the next they are not so yellow. Eventually all the yellow is gone, and they are pure white! Their feathers don't really seem to 'grow' in, they just kind of 'appear' under the fuzz!
