So ducks don’t nest huh?

Got it. Thanks for the explanation and she sounds like a really cool.duck

She is. Not the prettiest on the outside, but she glues the whole group together and brings the best out of other ducks. She is so naturally confident from duckling, not caring much about others, doing her own thing, that other ducks automatically look at her what to do when scared. She rarely corrects them agressively, only have seen it once. She choses to ignore you if you are annoying and/or have aggresive tendecies. Since the rest is following her anyway; you can either chooce to behave or be on your own. We are real glad we made the dicission to keep her (her 5 half-breed brothers and sister got a new home) and saw correctly what she could mean for the group. Without her we by now would have a bunch of scaredy ducks running around like chicken without a head. We now mainly recently have adult ducks from places where they are not raised with human contact, or apparently even food.. or grass.. resulting in weird scared ducks with weird behaviour, the last one insist on sleeping on tiles, hissing when walking by, next to the food, and eats the whole day like it was mallnurished had to fight for food/sleeping place where she came from. This ugly duck manages to get her out of this allmost autistic regime she is having now and then. She oozes 'safety' for some reason. So she is a keeper forever :)
