Signing up for BYC and I am so excited about all the knowledge and online-community knowledge sharing! I have been back and forth on the idea of having backyard chickens since our city "trialed" and recently passed a change to the old by-law which didn't allow them. I am so eager and excited to get them but I am also hesitant that they will be quite different from the pets I am experienced with (dogs/cats/pocket pets).

Right now as I plan my coop layout I find I have a lot of questions, and will likely be making my way to the appropriate forums for that! But I definitely wanted to say "HELLO"! and share my excitement in being a part of BYC
