After over two years of not having any chickens we went out and picked up 6 new babies yesterday. We got 3 barred rocks and3 leghorns. They are all supposed to be pullets. They came from a local feed store, but I forgot to ask how old they are. They have some feathers on their wing tips, I am thinking they are about 5 days old. My six year old son is just in love with them. He does not really remember having them before.
