    Fortress Report:

Well knock on wood or whatever; but thus far (2 weeks and counting) the fortress coup & pen has provided adequate protection for the wife's flock of (6)six chickens.

With only 8' separation from heavy undergrowth and a 250 acre wooded area I can only hope that what I built will continue to repel all transgressors. I have no way to determine how many or what kind of night time predators have come to check my security protection.

With no signs visible on the ground near the fence apparently nothing has attempted to dig or climb; either of which would most likely result in a life changing decision.

Thus far only (1)one daytime aerial assault predator has tried an attack sortie; which unfortunately did not work out real well for him.
