I am new to the chicken world and have spent so many hours on this site getting so much information that I have even been able to answer some basic questions at my local TSC that they did not know about. We are getting Black Australorps on April 8 and I cannot wait!!!!! I am so glad there is a place like this where so many people can get together and share ideas and experiences and are so willing to help those of us that have little to no clue how to even get started.

Welcome. We are always learning, even those of us who have been raising birds for many years. Black Australorps are a great breed. The ones I've had are hardy, gentle, and great layers. I'm looking forward to chicks this Spring too. See you around the forum.
